My first day!

TK 1553 was one of my most pleasant flights ever. The plane was almost empty, so I had the chance to lie on the next seats and sleep. Besides, the beautiful flight attendants of Turkish Airlines made my day.
It's my fourth time in Germany already. I had never seen the custom police so strict, though. I could only take a deep breath after I got my luggage and set off from Hannover Airport to Braunschweig with the train.
On the train I sat next to a guy which then came out to be a Missionaire (a Mormon) all the way from the States. He was yet 19 and believed to be blessed by god. I believe no other force than religion could push someone to do such a task.
After arriving in Braunschweig, I easily found the International Office of HBK(Hochschule für Bildende Künste) and finally met my Erasmus Coordinator Melanie, who had already been like a penfriend to me. After some paperwork and a coffee, I set off with my temporary tutor(in!) to my dorm room, which would be my new home for more than 5 months. When we arrived, I immediately realised that not sending the cleaning fee wasn't my best idea! Rolls of hair from the 5 previous residents of my room created the ambience of a snapshot from the wild west.

Still, the cleaning stuff I bought costed less than 25Euros and I will be using them throughout my whole stay.

After a walk to the city centre and cleaning my room, I was exhausted enough to sleep tight.
